The Batter’s Box
Batter’s Box
Lab-grade 6-axis force measurement, in the box.
Force plates embedded in a regulation batter’s box, wrapped in custom turf to your color and material specifications. Every swing, every phase, at 1000 Hz — captured on the same surface your athletes actually hit from. Available to order now.
How it works
Two feet. One kinetic chain.
A swing is a chain of force events — load on the back side, transfer through the stride, drive and rotate into contact. Our batter’s box is built to capture them all: embedded 6-axis plates across a regulation hitting surface, sampling at 1000 Hz.
Back foot
6-axis · 1000 Hz
Load & coil
Where the swing loads.
Forces through the back foot as the hitter gathers and coils. See how vertical load builds, when weight starts to shift forward, and how much ground reaction is available before the hands fire.
Front foot
6-axis · 1000 Hz
Drive & contact
Where the swing delivers.
Stride, plant, and rotation through the front side — braking force, block mechanics, and full moment data (Mx, My, Mz) at foot strike and through contact. One clean picture of how energy moves into the bat.
Insights
See the swing, from load to contact.
The data hitting coaches need and researchers demand — in the same report, on the same timeline.
Weight transfer timing
When load peaks on the back side, when the front foot accepts force, and how quickly weight moves through the swing — pitch by pitch, rep by rep.
Ground reaction at contact
Vertical and horizontal forces through both feet as the bat meets the ball. See whether the hitter is driving through or pulling off.
Moments (Mx, My, Mz)
Full 6-axis moment data live in the box. Most systems miss moments — it's where hip and torso mechanics first show up in the ground reaction.
Asymmetry & balance
Left vs. right, front vs. back, vertical vs. lateral — side-by-side on one timeline so coaches catch compensations early.

Why a box?
Real footing. Real mechanics.
Force plates on open turf measure a hitter doing something that isn’t game-like. Our box puts sensors where the swing actually happens: in a regulation batter’s box, low-profile and turf-wrapped to your specifications, built for daily cage use. Your athletes don’t change how they swing to get the data.
- Low-profile — sits nearly flush with the cage or tunnel floor.
- One box for left- and right-handed hitters.
- Mobile — move between cages without a permanent install.
- Custom turf wrapping — color and material to your specifications.
Who it’s for
From elite academies to college cages and pro hitting development.
College baseball programs
Track bat speed and launch angle alongside the ground-reaction data behind them. Monitor workload and asymmetries across a long season, in the same box your hitters already train in.
Private hitting labs & academies
Give every client a measurable before-and-after. The data that separates serious hitting development from guesswork and feel.
Pro player development
Individualized reports at the major-league level. See how swing mechanics change across sessions, seasons, and return-from-injury timelines.
Research & sports medicine
Regulation-stance biomechanics data at 1000 Hz. Peer-reviewed sensor technology, published validation studies, straight into your analysis pipeline.
The system
Batter’s Box
6-axis · 1000 Hz · regulation batter’s box · low-profile
A fully instrumented hitting surface. Embedded Axioforce plates in a regulation batter’s box capture full 6-axis forces — from back-side load through front-foot drive and contact — so you can see exactly how an athlete transfers energy into the swing.
