Axiostride
Measure real forces anywhere.
Wireless smart insoles for true 3D ground reaction forces.
Axiostride directly measures 3D ground reaction forces and motion during real movement — fifteen embedded 3D force sensors and a 6-axis IMU per foot. No lab, no force plates, no estimation; just true 3D force and motion data in real-world environments.
How it works
In the shoe. Out in the world.
A force plate tells you what happened on the platform. Smart insoles tell you what happened in the shoe — on the court, the track, the clinic aisle, or the practice field.
In the shoe
15 Axiocells · 6-axis IMU · battery · electronics
Drop-in sensing
Replaces the factory insole.
Each insole is thin enough to swap in for the stock insole in almost any athletic or clinical shoe — no custom footwear, no bolt-on hardware. The athlete wears what they already train in.
On the move
BLE 5.0 · onboard logging
Wireless capture
No tether to a plate.
BLE 5.0 streams live 3D force and IMU data to Axioforce software on a laptop or tablet. When you leave the sideline behind, each insole records sessions with onboard data logging — capture first, sync later.
Capabilities
What Axiostride does.
The same Axiocell technology that powers our force plates — packaged for footwear, validated against 3D plates, and built to scale from a single user to large deployments.
True 3D force and motion
Fifteen embedded 3D force sensors and a 6-axis IMU capture kinetics and kinematics across the entire plantar surface — no estimation, no force-plate proxy.
Lab-validated accuracy
97% agreement vs. 3D force plates across users, with NRMSE under 1% — the first validated wearable for 3D ground reaction force measurement.
Soft, low-profile, any shoe
Moisture-resistant, ≤ 5 mm at sensor locations, and thin enough to swap in for a standard insole without altering how the wearer moves.
Fully wireless
BLE 5.0 live streaming plus onboard storage — from single-user monitoring to large deployments in the clinic, on the field, or in the field.

Why insoles?
Measure where movement happens.
Lab plates answer questions on the platform. Insoles answer them in the environment — the shoe, the surface, and the session your athlete actually performs. Swap insoles, pair over Bluetooth, and review in Flux — or log to micro SD and upload when you’re back.
- Direct 3D ground reaction forces — not inferred from pressure mats.
- 15 Axiocell sensors and a 6-axis IMU per insole.
- Soft, moisture-resistant form factor that fits standard footwear.
- BLE 5.0 streaming or onboard data logging (16 MB).
- Lab validated: 97% vs. 3D force plates, NRMSE < 1%.
Who it’s for
Where it matters.
Whether optimizing athletic performance, monitoring rehabilitation, supporting field research, or assessing everyday wellness — measure where movement actually happens.
Clinical & rehabilitation
High-fidelity gait analysis and loading symmetry outside the lab — in the hallway, on the treadmill, or across return-to-walk progressions.
Athletics & sports science
External load and readiness monitoring in the athlete’s actual footwear — on the court, track, or practice field.
Military & defense
Field-ready 3D force and motion data for load carriage, readiness, and movement assessment in operational footwear.
Occupational & ergonomics
Quantify how workers load each foot on real shifts — without keeping people on a fixed platform.
Research & biomechanics
Portable, validated plantar sensing for studies that need true 3D ground reaction forces in natural environments.
Specifications
Built for the field. Validated in the lab.
Axiostride insoles are the first validated wearable solution for 3D ground reaction force measurement — poised to raise the bar for external load monitoring in sport and high-fidelity gait analysis in the clinic.
